How Roles Work

Hierarchical

Roles are ordered by priority. Higher roles can manage lower roles, but never the other way around.

Server-Side Enforced

Every action is validated on the server. Permissions can't be bypassed — what you set is what gets enforced.

Per-Server

Each server has its own role system. Members can have different roles in different servers.
